Emerald Valley Intergroup (EVI) Speaker’s Meeting – 2nd Saturday of the Month

Date: 2nd Saturday of Every Month
Times: 7:00 PM  – 9:00 PM

Al-Anon Speaker and A.A. Speaker: The first speaker is the Al-Anon speaker, followed by a raffle and the AA speaker.  Come and be encouraged as they share their experience, strength, and hope. Refreshments, snacks, and raffle prizes. Raffle donations welcomed.


Quarterly Service Manual Study Group 2017

Time: 1pm – 3pm

Dates: 4 Saturdays

Location: Eugene Literature Depot, 1253 Willamette St., Eugene – alley entrance

This study group is open to all Al-Anon members and is sponsored by District 6.

The purpose of this study group is to:
Increase understanding of the Al-Anon fellowship
Clarify Al-Anon’s purpose and function
Help resolve group problems
Increase group and district unity

Time will be available for addressing group concerns.


Oregon Area Assembly – November 2017

Theme: Come Bask in the Sunshine of the Spirit in Service
Dates: November 17th, 18th, and 19th, 2017, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Times: Friday – Sharing Meeting  7:30- 8:30 pm., Saturday – 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Sunday – 8:30 am to 12 noon
Location: Days Inn, Black Bear Conference Center, Salem, Oregon

The sharing meeting on Friday night, 7:30 pm, will NOT be at the conference center.  We will be having it at the Rolling Bagels Bakery, just a short drive away.  The address is below, but here is the important thing to remember: just past Les Schwab, turn at the Chinese restaurant, and drive straight back into the complex.  The Rolling Bagel is dead ahead.  We will try to have some signs to guide you.  It will be open at 7 pm for those who want to mingle. Lunch on Saturday, at the Red Lion, begins promptly at 12:15.  We suggest you plan to carpool so there isn’t as much traffic.  We’ll offer some guidance at the meeting to help get you there in a timely manner.  If you did not register for the meal, but would like to hear Judy J speak, that will be allowed.  She will begin speaking around 12:45.  Lunch is over at 1:30.

I think that’s it for now.  Salem is excited to have everyone here.  We know it is going to be a great weekend!  Travel safely everyone!

Helpers: Please mark your calendar for the Pre-Holiday Auction planning gathering! Wednesday, November 29th, 2017 at 7 pm at the Literature Depot. This will be a fun (bring snacks) and informative planning meeting to share information about the flow and function of the Holiday Auction.  Please invite others (auction runners, “elves”, greeters, kitchen helpers, etc.) who are serving at the auction. Above is a program that will be given to participants as they arrive. Together we’ll make this a great fellowship/fundraising event!!  Please reply to Dawn to confirm.
